Um....I knew there would be some weird changes when I moved here. Such as loo = bathroom, crisps = chips, and chips = fries but no one warned me that the English would switch my computer keys around. Today I though I was just tired when I was typing an email address and I wrote afarrar"uk.ey.com instead of afarrar@uk.ey.com, but no someone is playing with my mind!!!
This is a BAD JOKE to play on someone. Look at your keyboard (Yes, really look). Above your #2 button is there an "@" symbol? Well, not on English computers! Oh no, they have switched the "@" for the quotation mark. And a few other items. The Function key is now the key that locks my computer for the user to enter their password. So I probably entered my 55 times today alone. I feel that I should have been warned about said computer keyboard switches. Shouldn't there be a universal keyboard?
If anyone is looking for a job, I think this invention could win some sort of award!
