randomness

Flavours of chips are way weird – really really odd. Yesterday in the vending machine there was “English Roast Yorkshire Pudding” there is also “Flame grilled Argentina Steak” and “Prawn” flavour. Do any of these sound appeasing to you? What’s wrong with some good barbeque? Nope – you won’t find that here. You can barely find normal tortilla chips. Oh how I long for some Tostitos! Thus, my chip or (crisps as they refer to them here) consumption has decreased ten fold.

There are always singers in the tubes - morning and evening. Usually I try to beat the morning rush hour and don’t get to hear the lovely performer. I know I’m running late if I do see one though!! [Hopefully the additional beautifying time was worth it – haha!] The other day the singer was performing one of my all time favs “You look wonderful to night” except he was singing the wrong words!!! He was saying “you ARE wonderful tonight!” - I cringed the entire walk, and almost turned around to tell him he was singing the WRONG words. I wanted to go Simon Cowell all over him, but decided eating dinner 5 minutes earlier was a better use of my time.

Miss you all lots

Greece!

Yes we are home from an AMAZING vaca. Love love love Greece. We even started talking about how to go back there.

A couple memories/moments.

1. In Athens, Realizing on Sunday night (approx 7 hours before our ferry left from Athens to Mykonos) that we booked the ferry from the WRONG port...only a 50 EURO error, oh well. (you should have seen Burr's worried face!!! - well mine too actually that we weren't leaving athens....yes this was a terrifying realization - have you seen Athens latley?!)

2. In Santorini getting told off by the shoe store salesperson * (side note) that 1. Amex takes too much commission for her to accept on 1 measily pair of shoes and 2. yes, leather stretches AS I ALREADY TOLD YOU TWICE! (yikes - way to sell shoes). We bought them anyway...haha

*No peeps - shoes for Burr not me!!! ( I know better than to take Burr on shoe shopping adventures, who do you take me for!?)

3. Donkey rides in Santorini, no we did not parttake in this - although we witnessed several people that did....very funny. Let's just say I don't think they enjoyed it very much.

4. Beating burr in gin rummy (sp?) - card game - several times! OK, he won a few but overall I'm the champ. Mimi would be so proud of me!!!!

5. Best baklavia of my life at this little spot called Vanila in Santorini

Pics to come soon....when I have answered all my work emails....probably like a month.
Sorry fans
Miss ya
