Hello friends – So sorry I’ve been MIA
I have had a terrible cold, that makes me miserably grumpy and you just don’t want to be around me. Promise. But mine is getting better. Unfortunately Burr just got it so he feels terrible. Poor guy!
Last weekend I got to see Clare and Ellie! I have to say Clare was a little angel for me babysitting her. Went right to sleep when I put her down, went to the bathroom, etc. etc. Ellie is always an angel so that was easy too! See…I’ve got this down – haha. Johnny and Meg assured me she was putting on a good show for me. Well she won. I’m buying her a car next month. Ohhhh burr…..we can’t pay the mortgage but she really really needed it. That or a David Yurman bracelet. What? She really liked mine? She obviously has good taste….
Work is fine. The House needs help! Furntiure and yard help! Anyone, anyone? I definitely thought living in London was hard puh-lease. Something breaks, you make a call. Something breaks around the house – yikes….how much is that gonna cost to fix!
This weekend is full of fun. Charlotte food and wine with Johnny, Kaye, Bill, Barbara, Batten, and Brittany (that is a lot of B names – huh?). Then Sunday we are hosting brunch and a BBQ. I accidentally double booked us. I’m trying out new recipes so I’ll post them if they are delish.
