St. Paul's
This is a video I took Sunday. Burr and I met Katie and her mom at St. Paul's for church. These were the bells we heard walking up to the church. So pretty.

ROAR for my Uncle Pete!!
ROAR is for my Uncle Pete!!! He is in the hospital for the second day with a very high fever. Unfortunately its not just a fever, he has been going through chemo and radiation for cancer since August. Please say your prayers for him, my Aunt Martha, and my family in Texas. He is the biggest KU fan I know and lights up any room he walks into.
ROAR UNCLE PETE! I hope you feel better soon.
Love you lots,
Anne and Burr

Scotland!
Crazist jumping fish ever! The fish tried to jump up from the rocks upstream. So basically people just stood around staring at the these fish that would jump out of the water, slam into a rock, and inevidatebly end up back at the same place (i.e. downstream!) ....now that I think about it - I think sometimes people say this about their life, haha.

How smart are you?!
So I am in charge of the Junior League New Members social this evening. Its co-ed so Burr has to attend. He is THRILLED let me tell ya! Anyway, I thought we should test your knowledge - Do you know the answer to any of these?
(1) What is Tom Cruises full name?
(2) Approx how many black cabs are there in London?
Hope you got them right!!
In other news, Blair Waldorf continues to make me laugh out loud during gossip girl. She had a killer line last night about southern belles, unforunately I cannot remember it -but don't worry I will get it. For those of you that watch GG, I hope you enjoyed it as much as Burr and I did!
Miss you

Clare Bear representing!

Isn't she the cutest thing ever!!! I could not help but buy her the little shirt and hat.(don't ask how much it cost, at least I got Harrods points right?!)...ahhhh she is so adorable. Pink is def. her color.
Thanks Johnny and Meg for sending. Also, congrats to Johnny and Meg for winning their 5k race this weekend - that is awesome.
Tonight was my first time to get my hair done by someone else other than amy in charlotte in 4 years. It was a VERY scary day let me tell you. I was SO scared it would turn it out TERRIBLE. *
*Side note - I have had some seriously bad hair-do's 1. Perm 2. Bleach Blonde and 3. Short and bleach blonde - need we say more?!
So Christine, my sorority sister, recommended this man that comes to her house to her hair and has been coming to her house for about 5 years. I figured he had to be good. Turns out he is the most amazing little man. REALLY liked him and I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends:-) Will send pics when I can.
Let's hope Burr feels better soon!
MUAH

Hello
Hello friends!
Burr has a cold this week :-( For some reason he does not believe in sick days so he is still going to work, even though we have unlimited sick days! (This is why they give you unlimited because you never take them!) I told him that if he got other people sick this was going to come back to bite him because then his team would be taking their sick days....lets just hope he gets better soon. He has a "bowling outing" tonight for work.
Tomorrow I am the leader of a junior league new member social! We are having "pub quiz" for about 30 people at a pub in Covent Garden. Should be fun:-)
This Friday I have girls' dinner planned at this Italian place called Toto's - should be yummy.
then we leave for Scotland Saturday morning to meet Mom and David - YEAH

Other fun London pics!
This is actually the back of some of my co-workers. I just wanted to demonstrate what exactly entailed the "EY PUB WALK" - note my previous blogs. We walked like 7 miles and I drank maybe 1/2 pint. My legs hurt so badly! I mean I have never been on a pub crawl that looks like this - we are in a field! Have you?
This is a picture I took at my favorite exhibit at the V&A. Its the fashion exhibit that is going on right now.

This is Jess Carvjal (lives in London) and on my right Jessica Coniglio. Coniglio lives in Charlotte and she came to visit for a weekend in London! We went to Trader Vic's for dinner - which was not good. The best part of the evening I think I have written about before - where the waiter watched me eat a tortilla chip like I was going to combust after eating it!
Here we went to itsu! Coniglio was shocked there was a sushi place where the food rotated around the room on a little conveyer belt.

So these our the pics from our Cambridge trip: Burr, Anne, and Ed. Ed is Burr's fraternity brother, for those who do not know. He is moving to London - YEAH! I love hanging out with him - so laid back and fun. So the 3 of went there - This is the hill (quite windy! but a great view)
This is the mathmatical bridge - really cute huh?
Punting! Or as I kept calling it, bunting! Burr was getting so mad at me because I kept calling it the wrong thing - haha. This little man pushes this stick intot he water and manuvers his way around. The most interesting thing was this was obviously the end of this guys' "shift" and he did not want to deal with the morons who thought they could "punt" themselves - who were just floating around in the middle of the river - so our guy would just smack right into their boats, make them smack into the wall without as much as a sorry and continue on his talk regarding cambridge and the history - SO FUNNY

Trinity College - Anne and Burr

The only part of the story I forgot to tell, which Burr would probably mention, is that I was a total drill sergent for the first half of the day! I printed out a walking map with 16 items we needed to see and within the first 1.5 hours we had been to 10! Burr was like - you are scaring me! The goal is not to see everything!!

MY favorite part of the day might have been when the men decided to grab a pint * and I went shopping. I found the cutest littel boutique and got this red sweater dress and tights. LOVE IT! Don't ask how much it was in £ - ugh exchange rate!
*Burr said 1 pint, so I returned in 20 min, to see they had ordered pint number 2, so again I returned in 20 min, to find they had ordered a 3rd pint!! So - I finally SAID this is the LAST one - I want to punt.
So we punted and then literally RAN to the train station to fly onto the last train - whew.

I HATE PEANUTS
SO THERE HAS BEEN A lack of posting because I had an allergy attack last thursday. It was really quite horrible and I wont go into details, but I’m glad to be on the mend. I did get the chance to experince public healthcare and private healthcare. yes, I went to the hospital twice!
well let me just say the public healthcare is for real “no frills”.” I mean they take care of you, stuck me with an iv, saw the dr’s that type of thing but it was really like being in an episode of er. Right in the middle of everything and all the action!
So last weekend burr has to literally babysit me all weekend and make sure I was still breathing in between my naps J which were often.
Needless to say we are looking to have a little more fun this weekend!
Miss you all
