Um, excuse me can you put that cig down?
When the girl doesn't move I simply say "Excuse me" and she looks up and gives me a nasty look. At which point I notice what she is doing. (Remember we are at the GYM - workout locker room - etc.) She is sitting on the bench rolling a cigarette like her life depends on it! She doesn't move over she is so focused on rolling this cigarette. It took ALL my will power not to say "You do realize that smoking HURTS your lungs and working out followed by puffing on that thing you are so rudely rolling in front of my locker is completing negating your workout, right?"
I ended up not saying anything....but only in London! Everyone smokes here I swear!

Trip to the US
Back in the states
I returned from the US yesterday morning. I still feel quite groggy today which is either (1) an enormous amount of junk food (2) very little sleep from Kacies uber-fun bachelorette coupled with (3) even less sleep on flight over. Usually I sleep so well on flights over but this time the Tylenol pm could not keep me from watching WHEN in ROME with Kristen Bell and Josh Duhmanl. That type of movie is right up Anne’s alley....right Burr? Loved it – go figure.
This morning while we were getting ready for work I mentioned I also watched “Did you hear about the Morgan’s?” but didn’t get to finish it and Burr responded “I think that movie is supposed to be one of the worst movies ever made” to which we both agreed is probably why I really liked it!! Oh my fabulous movie tastes.
Top 5 things that happened while in the US
1. Seeing Clare Bear!!!! (Thanks for driving down Johnny and Meghan!)
2. Seeling Kaitlyn!!! ( I didn’t take any pictures of her, which is just very sad on my part – but she has the cutest Restoration Hardware decorated pink and brown room and I’m obsessed with it!)
3. Kacie’s bachelorette party – I like the pics of me wearing the centrepiece as a necklace. ‘Nuff said
4. Talking to Burr at 3am London time after he attended a “work dinner party” – apparently they played some shot game where they were all duped into taking shots of vodka/rum...smart auditors, huh?
5. Shopping – Mix of shopping with my mama- always fabulous (she taught me well!) and shopping at Chicago outlets....although the most expensive thing I bought were Burr shoes – go figure! (I’m holding out for my LV bag – hint hint)
Miss everyone already!
X
