View of Singapore~!
OK so this is the most clean city I have ever been in! It was amazing. No trash anywhere and if you do litter there is a huge fine. They are serious about following the rules here, Burr would fit right in. They don't even jaywalk to cross the street, always wait for the green little man even if there are no cars around! AMAAZZZINNNGGG!!!

We took the train in from the airport and got to our hotel. The hotel was actually really nice and the A/C worked great. After being in Phu Quoc without any air for 3 days, we were a little toasty. For the night Burr and I split up. Burr went with his frat bro, Ben Hall (I think) and they went somewhere french for steak frites. I went with wonderful Sandie and her husband Joseph out for some proper seafood and it was too die for. I will post pictures soon, the best picture is the one of my purse.  Yes, at dinner they give you a bib if you order crab/lobster. Then if you have a bag in the empty seat next to you, your chair and  gets a covering (aka bib) as well - it was awesome. I was going "What is that?" and Sandie says well of course its so you don't splatter on your purse - really?! haha.

Sandie and Joseph walked me all around Singapore showing me the sights. I thought it was so interesting how new it was. Everyone was very polite, nice, polished.  The old post office has been converted into this gorgeous hotel. I swear I could have bottled up the smell of that hotel and taken it with me - it was amazing. (Don't worry Mom, I took lots of pictures of the pretty flowers!)  Also, you walk underground about 70% of the time. They have tons of underground walkways because its so hot and humid.  Sandie also had me try Singapore ice cream but Durian flavored which is what she calls "Sticky Fruit" and I decided me and Durian were never meant to be. This is the first night I've met an ice cream I did not finish! ewwww.

The next day I shopped and looked around. I noted that Singapore is CRAZY expensive. Seriously the exchange rate now is terrible for US dollars and a top from H&M would probably be $100 (I am not sure there is even an H&M, but I'm just saying it was super expensive).

We headed back for the airport and I used the rest of our Singapore cash to buy the Chloe perfume I wanted (I am so practical - this is what I told Burr)!  then we left for Hong Kong.

So Burr and I have one more flight on Singapore Airlines.  We have fallen in love with Singapore Airlines this trip and I think I might cry when I have to get on our United flight from San Fran to CLT  in a few days....goodbye warm towels, flowing cocktails, and menu options - hello mean american stewardesses!!! (Note - does anyone remember when I almost got "yellow carded" on a plane for being mean to the drink cart lady because I needed to use the restroom on the plane?   not my finest moment! but seriously lady?)

Now we are in Hong Kong and I will have to blog about that later...of course there are pics of Singapore too I will need to add :-)

Get excited T minus 3 days until the Farrars are on American Soil!
