So the beach in Phu Quoc we loved, our little $30 a night villa was great, right off the beach. The only problem is the beach is a little bit dirty if you are not right in front of the resort. And by dirty, we mean fithly....here are a list of items we found while walking....We even made a game out of it "See if you can find X" While we were walking and searching for a watch we stubbled upon number 9 below, and didn't walk anymore on the beach.
1. Pens
2. Sandals (too many too count)
3. Beer bottles
4. Trash, lots of trash
5. Large branches
6. Plastic sacks
7. Used syringe
8. Used condom
9. And by far worst of all.....A pig. No, not alive, a greyish-white colored pig that had been washed up on shore. Even the stray dogs would not go near it!!!! I squeeled and we turned the other direction, then decided showering was better than getting in the ocean when we were hot.
