“No, no Daddy mine” – or even better “No, no Johnny mine” – yes she sometimes refers to her Dad as Johnny, its quite funny. I had the best time playing, singing, dancing, and reading with Clare. She is adorable and I will post pictures soon. Her favorite toys are her new doll, Maria, the Elmo DVD, and of course her new pot I gave her. (It has fake broccoli, corn, peas, etc and makes noise when you stir it).
In addition to Clare I got to see Emily, Melissa and Michelle, Rieke, Kacie, and a ton of my family members in Wichita. My grandmother, Nana, is still one of the prettiest people I know. I hope I can look at good as her when I am older.
I got to go to the KS vs. KSU game. It was amazing. The video beforehand is so cool. It gave me goosebumps, and perhaps brought tears to my eyes – ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK! Fav player might be Robinson, but I like to watch Selby because he is just that good.
I am now on the jet lag....and its not so bad considering Clare gets up in the 4am hour everyday (oh poor Johnny and Meg) you kinda get used to it – ah! And....thanks to Johnny and Meg I now have a severe coffee addiction! I used to be able to just have tea, now I’m on double lattes....yikes.
So good to see everyone. Now to enjoy our last 3 months!
