Fab weekend in London!

Well we started the weekend at Bar Boloud.  We met Jo:anna and David there and since it was so packed, they ate at the bar - we drank, then we switched places - haha.  Sitting at the bar looking over the chef's kitchen the chef heard our American accent and came over to chat with us.  He worked at the NYC version of the restaurant before opening this one in London. So, he gave the Iliff's Madeleine's for dessert - see below.

He gave us Foie Gras! Even though Burr and I are not a fan, we couldn't not it , right?!  So we ate it and said it was yummy. The one of the right I kinda liked. The one on the left had nuts in it and Burr liked it too - so maybe we are getting a better palate :-)

this is a picture of our dessert - I thought it was way too cute not to take a picture! Its white chocolate with passion fruit gelato in the middle. Yummy!!

Saturday was Anne-day - since Burr was working. I went for a bike ride through the park to yoga class at8:45. After yoga class I grabbed a coffee then went to this adorable cafe for brunch - Gail's. After that I wandered around Portabllo Market. Its always so fun there and I always see great fun things!!! I got a gift for my friend and found some great Benefit Lip Gloss - three pack for £10 - a steal! (because of course I definitely needed more lip gloss - haha).

After my market trip I road on a Barclay's bike back home, showered and went out for my purse shopping outing!  Burr and I decided I would get a bag for my birthday, Christmas, valentine's, anniversary, and busy season gift.  So first I hit Louis Vitton, Prada, Chanel, and Tod's.  I think I want a Tod's bag - but I really really love this Prada one too - I might put a survey out for it!
Then I made it "greek night" - I cooked turkey meatballs, tzatiki, greek salad, and got macaroon's at Piere Herme (yes, I realize not greek). Burr and I hung out  and watched KU ball. so nice.
Today I might Rachel and Ellie for lunch - always fun. Then met Mary on Kings Road.  Mary is our new friend, adorable and she is coming to girls' night on Thursday so I'm excited for that! Apparently she and Burr went to UvA together - small world!!!
Well getting ready for the week. I am ecstatic that its valentine's day tomorrow - you know that means?! McD's - yup its our 4th year to have McDonalds and movie night on Valentine's Day - so excited, its going to be yummy. I just need to decide between Chicken Nuggets or a Cheeseburger now...hmmm decisions decisions.
Hope you all had a fab weekend.
Love you!
Anne
