Flat Stanley

Does everyone know Flat Stanley? If you a)live in London and b) have family under the age of 12 back in the states you definitely know Flat Stanley. Our FS (his nickname) was given to us by Lauren Suess, adorable, and we took him on a little trip around London. What I thought was SO funny about this was when I was telling people about what Burr and I were up they would 99% of the time respond with "Oh yeah, we just sent ours' back" or "Yep, had 2 last year" or "Watch out - don't ruin him in the rain like we did!" haha. It appears everyone had a FS visitor so we were proud to get our first! (Lauren - I hope the show and tell went well!)

Here are a few of the pics of us around London...

I cannot figure out how to rotate this pic...just turn your head...better yet...be one of those people that physically turns their computer instead of just moving your neck. Then take a picture and I will put it on the blog - hahaha!

This is Kambry and Brian's flat stanley - they took their FS to ROME! But they had him for like 2 months.
WOO - WOO Peter's Pride in London. Here's to our Uncle Peter! One of the strongest men we know! Love you!

I think Burr should make this is facebook profile pic don't you?!

I made him
a) get up early on a Saturday
b) Wear matching tshirts - (Side note - not to match people....to support my Uncle Peter and take a pic of us in them in London, duh, we are not the "matching" type of couple...but I don't like to clash with my dresses either..hehe )
c) take a minimum of 5 pics with FS at each place b/c it was so windy and I liked FS to look normal (i.e. with a head)
d) take all pics with our Blackberries b/c we did not have a working camera at the time
and finally
e) carry an EY bag around all day with FS wrapped in plastic so he didn't get rained on.
All in all lets say Burr really really loved me.

Our experience was easy with FS - we did not a) lose him b) get him too wet c) rip em or any of the other HORROR stories other American expats told us. So YEAH we did it!

More later lots of love
