Regis and Kelly

Regis and Kelly is my all-time favorite daytime show. I don't know why - but I'm obsessed. I usually only watch the first 15 minutes because its the best part...unless there is a fabulous guest or something. Well today I watched the whole thing as I'm wrapped in a ball sick :-( But this I cannot help but laugh hysterically at this poor guest / cook who obviously HAS ZERO TV SKILLS!! In a matter of 60 seconds she has managed to make Regis, Kelly, and the producers mad (I'm sure they are mad - trust me on this one people!)

The "cook" is showing how to make cupcakes into fun Halloween shapes and designs, etc. She has one already prepared with icing and is going to demonstrate how to put the Dunkin Donuts munchin on top and somehow make a pumpkin shape....but instead of using her pre-iced cupcake Regis wants to ice his own and she gets MAD! "Well - OK I GGUUUUEESSS you can do that" she says very rudely , followed by Kelly "Lets just let him do what he wants ok?" , the mad cook "well I already have one made I was going to use but whatever..." hahahaha - I'm dying here.

Not even 30 seconds later she gets mad at the TV "zoomer" - (Side note - I'm sure there is technical name for the TV dude who does the zooming in and out of pictures but I don't know what its called, so I feel TV zoomer is suitable for today). So the cook says "and on to look at these cupcakes with tootsie rolls that look like dracula "- followed by "well you zoomed in on the bad one, but oh well" - hahahaha.

She is so entertaining. Its like she has no filter! Doesn't someone screen these folks before they are allowed on LIVE TV!!

Ohhhh it gets better....the very end she is showing them how to glue candy corn to some Styrofoam ball and she is talking about the candy corn and says "The only thing with this CRAP (i.e. candy corn) is you eat one put one on, eat one, put one on, etc. etc." Who says "CRAP" on LIVE TV?! And anyone over the age of 15 for that matter....highly entertaining.

The lesson in life: 1. Never get mad at Regis - he is amazing 2. Don't use the word CRAP - ever ( I can hear my mom cringing...) 3. Don't go on live TV if you love your cupcake figurines better than you like your job because I don't think you'll be employed much longer Ms. Cookie!
