Allergies are a terrible thing! and I don't mean hay fever...

Yesterday was not such a hot day for Burr or myself. First thing in the morning we didn't get our groceries, then we to the tube and there are "severe delays" Of course Burr did not feel like waiting for the hour to get to work on the tube so we hopped in a cab, always so economical - haha.

So the day got worse for Burr at work, computer issues, etc., etc.

Then I get an email from Burr after lunch saying "Call me pls" - I think "oh geez, did I remember to pay the AMEX bill???" he then tells me "The maid thinks she left the iron on"...and Burr cannot leave work to go check. I rec'd this call about 2pm and the maid leaves at 11 - OH GREAT. Its been on for 3 hours!! What has it burned that I'm going to miss?! So obviously one of us has to leave work to go see if the iron is on - while praying it has automatic shutoff. Then, by the time I get home I am not feeling so hot. I notice the iron...oh its unplugged. Thank you Lord for watching over us!

Then I continue to work from home and get sicker and sicker...then my cheeks start to do that thing again where I look like a chipmunk and I'm thinking its back to the hospital for me:-( Burr comes home from work (early again for him) and calls the nurse. I take some benadryl and lucky enough keep taking it every 4 hours. Its now 24 hours later. My cheeks are still swollen but I'm feeling better. The allergist doesn't really know what to tell me, he says I have an "intolerance" to something not an allergy and its very hard to tell what that is....so I am now wondering is this going to happen to me every 6 months...errrr.

Write me an email if you can!
Take Care
Anne
